During the summer, Ante Rebic drew interest from some of Europe's top clubs with his performances at the World Cup, but ultimately the Croatian international put the rumors to bed by signing a new contract with Eintracht Frankfurt that runs until 2022.

The 25-year-old says he wanted to stay another season at the Commerzbank-Arena, but he could be open to a move next summer.

"There's enough time in my career to make a move, perhaps as soon as next summer," Rebic said in an interview with Goal.com.

"There were a lot of offers this summer but Eintracht showed how much they appreciate me. They offered me a new contract, I signed it, although they always knew that I would stay."

"I didn't want to go anywhere. I feel great in Frankfurt, am playing well and I'm happy," he added.

Rebic has been linked with clubs suchs as Arsenal, Napoli, Bayern München, Manchester United and Tottenham.
