Tah and Bayern agree personal terms, report claims

Bayern Munich have reportedly agreed personal terms with Bayer Leverkusen defender Jonathan Tah.

Jonathan Tah has been linked with a move from Bayer Leverkusen to Bayern Munich in recent months, and it now appears that the Bavarians have taken a step closer to signing him.

According to Sky Germany, Bayern and Tah have agreed in principle on a summer transfer.

However, this doesn't necessarily mean that Tah will join Bayern, as other sides are also chasing him and the two clubs have yet to open talks over a transfer fee.

Leverkusen would prefer to keep Tah, who was a key defensive player for them in their double-winning campaign.

However, Leverkusen have previously made it clear that if Tah does not wish to extend his contract beyond 2025, he will be sold this summer as the club don't want to lose him for nothing.

Tah, 28, has played for Leverkusen since 2015. He is part of Germany's Euro 2024 squad and is expected to start in central defense alongside Antonio Rüdiger.
