Agent confirms widespread interest in Bochum prodigy

VfL Bochum youngster Cajetan Lenz has attracted interest from a number of clubs, both in Germany and abroad, according to his agent.

19-year-old Cajetan Lenz has impressed for VfL Bochum this season, breaking into the first team of the 2. Bundesliga side.

According to his agent, Makram Naceur, several clubs are keeping a close eye on the central midfielder.

“I can confirm that many clubs, both domestic and international, have made contact. However, Cajetan is fully focused on his youth club, VfL Bochum,” Naceur told Sky.

The German media outlet reports that every Bundesliga club except Bayern Munich have shown concrete interest in Lenz, while Premier League side West Ham United are also said to be monitoring him.

In line with this, WAZ recently reported that Bayer Leverkusen and a number of other top clubs are keeping tabs on the youngster.
