Borussia Dortmund, according to Sky Germany's Patrick Berger, is preparing an improved offer for Said El Mala.

The pay-TV channel understands that Dortmund's next bid is set to be submitted to 1.FC Köln some time later this week.

In what would be their third offer for the 19-year-old, Dortmund is expected to table €40million guaranteed plus bonuses.

Their most recent bid was €34million with €10million in bonuses, so BVB aims to soften up Effzeh through the bonus structure again.

The clubs recently had direct talks again, but they are still apart, while Köln still wants at least €50million for the German sensation.
