Late on Monday, Eintracht Frankfurt have confirmed the signing of Belgian striker Michy Batshuayi from Galatasaray.

The former Borussia Dortmund forward joins Eintracht on a permanent basis for a fee reported to be in the region of €2-3 million. He has signed a contract until 2027.

“Michy Batshuayi not only has a strong goalscoring record, but also a wealth of experience, having played in almost every major European league, not least the Bundesliga,” said Eintracht board member for sport Markus Krösche.

“Michy has the necessary toughness and competitiveness. We are confident that he will quickly take on an important role in our young squad.”
