The 21-year-old striker was demoted to the second team after a loan spell with Elversberg in 2. Bundesliga. Faghir ended the 2024/25 season with 8 3. Liga goals despite limited playing time with Stuttgart II.

The former Danish U21 player will now return to Vejle BK. Faghir first made his name for himself at Vejle before a €3.50 million transfer to the Swabians in 2021. Despite scoring an injury-time equalizer against Union Berlin in his home debut, Faghir only made six Bundesliga appearances for the club, all in the space of a couple of months.

VfB Sporting Director Christian Gentner thanked the player for his contribution to Stuttgart II avoiding relegation last season. "Wahid made an important contribution to our U21 team's survival in the 3rd division last season. We thank him for his time in the VfB jersey and wish him all the best and much success for the future."

Faghir also played for Superliga side Nordsjælland on loan in the 2022/23 season.
