TSG Hoffenheim’s Attila Szalai has joined Kasımpaşa, but the Hungarian international will not be the only expensive center-back signing to leave the club on a loan in the upcoming season. Stanley Nsoki is now finalizing a move to Union Berlin.

The French defender joined Hoffenheim for €12 million in 2022, but he only made 52 Bundesliga appearances in three seasons. The 26-year-old scored two own goals in the 2024-25 campaign. He’ll now hope to regain his form in Germany’s capital.

The former PSG and OGC Nice defender has other options abroad, but he opts to stay in the Bundesliga. Le Parisien journalist Marc Mechenoua reports that Union Berlin will have an option to buy at the end of the loan spell.
