Sitting at the bottom of the Bundesliga table without a win, Borussia Mönchengladbach could look to bring in reinforcements when the transfer window opens in January.

One candidate that new Gladbach head of sport Rouven Schröder has in his sights is VfB Stuttgart centre-back Finn Jeltsch, according to Bild.

The 19-year-old has struggled to secure a regular starting spot for the Swabians this season amid strong competition in central defence.

A loan would likely be the only feasible option, but it remains uncertain whether Jeltsch and Stuttgart would be open to such a move.

So far this season, Jeltsch has made seven appearances for Stuttgart, six of them as a starter.
