According to Turkish journalist Resat Can Özbudak, Hamburger SV has inquired about Fenerbache's Irfan Can Egribayat.

It is believed that the goalkeeper is being lined up as a replacement for Bayern loanee Daniel Peretz who looks set to join Southampton FC.

Last season, the former Turkish youth international shot-stopper was a regular starter for the Süper Lig outfit from Istanbul.

However, since the arrival of Ederson from Manchester City in summer, he has been relegated almost exclusively to the bench.

Consequently, Egribayat is considering a move abroad and the report lists possible suitors primarily from the Polish Ekstraklasa.

Unnamed clubs from the Polish topflight are reportedly increasing their offers for the 27-year-old goalkeeper daily.

However, HSV will not want to join a bidding war given Egribayat is unlikely to be guaranteed playing time over Daniel Heuer-Fernandes.
