1.FC Köln might let Linton Maina leave this winter, according to a recent report from club-affiliated source Geissblog.

The Bundesliga club would sell the attacking player if a suitable offer were received during the January transfer window.

However, due to the 26-year-old's inconsistent first half of the season, Köln does not expect any such offers to materialize.

Maina's has failed to register a single goal contribution in eleven appearances which speaks volumes regarding his poor form.

As a result, the former German youth international is also open to a change of scenery and a fresh start.

Most recently, it was said that 1.FC Union Berlin were considering a move in January, but there has been no concrete approach to date.

However, there are supposedly other interested clubs active in the Bundesliga and German's second division.
