According to reports, Bayer Leverkusen and Florian Wirtz have essentially been in agreement on the terms of a contract extension beyond 2027 for some time now.

However, the deal has yet to be finalized, with the 21-year-old seemingly hesitating to give the green light.

Nevertheless, it seems only a matter of time before Wirtz puts pen to paper on a new deal with the German champions.

But should he unexpectedly turn down Leverkusen's offer, a summer move could be on the cards.

In that case, according to Sky Germany, it would take an offer of 120-130 million plus bonuses to make Leverkusen think about selling.

Wirtz, who has played for Leverkusen since 2020, is currently sidelined due to an ankle injury.

He has scored 15 goals and provided 13 assists in 39 matches for Die Werkself this season.
