Laurin Ulrich is under contract with VfB Stuttgart for another year, but several German clubs are interested in the talented youngster.

Transfermarkt suggests the 20-year-old is being courted by Eintracht Braunschweig, Paderborn, Greuther Fürth, Arminia Bielefeld, and Karlsruher of the 2.Bundesliga.

Talks have apparently already taken place with some of these clubs regarding the promising attacking midfielder.

Given the numerous interested parties and the contract situation, VfB must decide how to plan for the youngster. An extension is very possible.

“Laurin still has great potential, but has been slowed down by illness and injuries in recent years,” said chairman Alexander Wehrle in a February interview.

"We brought him back from Ulm in the winter to give him match practice with our U-21 team in the 3rd division.

"There, he has recently performed well and scored important goals for the team," said the Stuttgart boss.
