Musiala reacts to Netherlands draw: "Many decisions didn't go our way"
Germany attacker Jamal Musiala wasn't too ken to talk about the referee after Tuesday's 2-2 draw with the Netherlands, but he did say that he felt a lot of decisions went against the German team.
One of the decisions the Germans were unhappy with occurred in the second half when they called for a penalty after Xavi Simons appeared to step on Musiala's foot, but their protests were waved away.
"I don't want to talk too much about the referee, but I felt many decisions didn't go our way. But that happens in football," said Musiala in a post-match interview.
Reflecting on the game, he said:
“Both teams had chances. We have to make sure we improve game by game. We'll learn a lot from tonight.
"We made a few mistakes, we need to be more confident on the ball and clever, but there are also a lot of positive things. The atmosphere is really good and we're playing good football."
