VfL Wolfsburg and Marin Pongracic are likely to go separate ways this summer, according to Kicker.

Per the German football publication, Pongracic wants to find a new club once he returns from his loan spell at Dortmund during which he has failed to impress.

It is further claimed that Pongracic "no longer plays a real role" in the plans of Wolfsburg, with 'Die Wölfe' prepared to offload the centre-back this summer to avoid losing him for free, when his contract expires in 2023.

In addition to Pongracic, Wolfsburg could say permanently goodbye to Josuha Guilavogui and Josip Brekalo, who are currently on loan at Bordeaux and Torino, respectively.

Torino have an option to sign the latter for €10.5 million and are considered likely to do so.
