After moving to his native Italy last January, Ghanaian-born striker Kelvin Kwarteng Yeboah has only managed to log 289 minutes of action for Genoa FC this season. The 22-year-old, who represents Italy internationally at youth level, is thus considering moving back up north. Yeboah, having spent five seasons playing for WSG Tirol and Sturm Graz in the Austrian Bundesliga, may now be headed to the German top-flight.

This is according to a report filed today by the editorial staff on Italian transfer expert Gianluca di Marzio's website. The published rumor also notes that clubs in the Belgian Jupiler Pro League and Dutch Erdevisie are also vying for Yeboah's services. German clubs may maintain a slight advantage as Yeboah has some familial ties to the Bundesrepublik.

Yeboah's uncle Anthony maintains legendary status as a Bundesliga goal-machine. Anthony netted a total of 96 goals in ten seasons spent playing for Eintracht Frankfurt and Hamburger SV. Kelvin himself was a prolific scorer (34) goals during his time spent in "Kleindeutschland". Family and language familiarity could draw Kelvin to the Bundesreprublik.

The specific Bundesliga sides interested in the young attacker are not named. Di Marzio's report merely notes that the trio occupies the "lower half of the Bundesliga table". Yeboah has racked up a total of 31 appearances for the Serie B side since transferring last January, meaning that the Italian club may prefer a loan-out to a direct sale.
