Franz Beckenbauer and Uli Hoeness are set to be in the stands for Bayern München's Bundesliga clash with Eintracht Frankfurt at Allianz Arena on Saturday, according to Bild.

The two Bayern legends have been invited by the club's CEO, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge.

"'Kalle' called an invited me. After a long time, I'm leaving my home environment again," Beckenbauer told Bild and added:

"I will enjoy the game and concentrate fully on the action on the pitch. Otherwise, I'll be asked over and over again, 'Franz, did you see that?'. But I like watching football without having to talk much."

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the Bundesliga clubs must adhere to a strict hygiene and safety protocol. All remaining games will be played without fans, but home sides are allowed to have a delegation of eight people in the stands while away sides can bring four people.
