Bayern München were offered the chance to sign Christian Eriksen from Inter during the recently closed transfer window, according to Sky Germany.

Apparently, Inter proposed a swap deal involving the Danish international and Jerome Boateng, but Bayern refused to let go of the centre-back, who has received plenty of playing time since Hansi Flick took over as coach.

Eriksen, who only joined Inter in January, ultimately stayed at the Italian Serie A club.

Boateng, 32, who is out of contract with Bayern next year recently said that he could imagine signing a new deal with the Bavarians.
