Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Julian Baumgartlinger has undergone successful surgery on his knee, the Bundesliga outfit said on Tuesday.
The Austrian international suffered anterior cruciate ligament damage during Saturday's 0-1 defeat to Wolfsburg in the Bundesliga.
Baumgartlinger will begin his rehabilitation on Wednesday and isn't expected back until May from the current perspective, the club said.
