Reports: Eintracht Frankfurt begin talks with Ralf Rangnick, negotiations said to center around administrative position
Sky Germany broke the news late Tuesday that Eintracht Frankfurt are in the process of making a play for Germany's top available head-coach. The Frankfurter Rundschau, however, refutes this report.
According to German footballing magazine Kicker, there has been an initial exchange between the two parties with further talks to follow on Thursday.
Eintracht Frankfurt remain in the market for quite a bit on the managerial side. The departures of sporting CEO Fredi Bobic, sporting director Bruno Hübner, and head-coach Adi Hütter leave the club potentially looking for a man who can wear all hats.

It is such that the internet is presently abuzz with rumors that one such man is in the SGE's sights. Ralf Rangnick, who took on multiple roles during his time at TSG 1899 Hoffenheim and RB Leipzig, is still widely considered the top German coaching commodity available.
At this juncture, conflicting reports fly about. Sky Germany notes that preliminary talks have already begun with "concrete steps" to follow. A local newspaper in Germany's commercial capital notes that the Hesseners are presently preoccupied with reorganizing their board structure and do not wish to rush into anything.

The magazine's German websites affirms reports that initial contact has taken place, yet casts doubt that the club seeks to place Rangnick on the sidelines. It can thus be assumed that Rangnick is being courted as an executive.
Further talks are said to be scheduled in two-days time. Also on Tuesday, the SGE board voted to made Axel Hellman its official spokesperson, responsible for all comments during the club's coming personnel overall. Obviously, there has been no comment from Hellman yet.
