Sane set for groin surgery, Bild reports
Leroy Sane will undergo groin surgery on Monday in Munich, according to Bild.
With Germany out of Euro 2024, Leroy Sané is set to surgery on his groin, Bild reports.
Sané will go under the knife in Munich on Monday and is expected to return to full training in 3-4 weeks and take part in pre-season activities under new Bayern coach Vincent Kompany.
The 28-year-old winger has been struggling with a pubic bone problem for some time.
He missed six of Bayern's last seven Bundesliga games of the season due to the injury.
In total, Sané made 42 appearances for Bayern in the 2023/24 season, scoring 10 goals and providing 13 assists.
