Rumours have started circulating that Joao Palhinha’s days at Bayern Munich could be nearing an end already, according to a source.

Local Bavarian tabloid Tz Munchen suggests there has been talk behind the scenes at Sabener Strasse regarding the Portuguese midfielder.

It is believed the 29-year-old was only signed last summer because of a failed transfer in 2023.

Palhinha is supposedly behind in the pecking order under Kompany, and his latest spate of illness didn’t help either.

With Joshua Kimmich set to be rested and a combination of Aleksandar Pavlovic with Leon Goretzka in midfield against Stuttgart, it is possible Palhinha could be for sale at the end of the season.
