Whether Bayern Munich will go in for a new centre-back in the summer mainly depends on Kim Min-Jae's future, Sky Germany reports.

The club is still keeping an eye on Nico Schlotterbeck and whether he will extend his contract at Borussia Dortmund or not.

In addition, Stade Rennes' Jérémy Jacquet is on Bayern's radar, with Max Eberl supposedly a fan of the 20-year old Frenchman.

There's a lot of competition for Jacquet from Premier League sides like Chelsea and others – He's expected to cost more than €50million.

Bayern believe they have little chance of completing a deal, a move becomes even more unlikely if Kim Min-Jae stays.

The South Korean international made a rare appearance on Wednesday night, scoring a goal in the Bavarians' 3-1 win over 1.FC Köln.
