Report: Leverkusen hold firm on Tah price in negotiations with Bayern

Bayern Munich are reportedly making no progress in their negotiations with Bayer Leverkusen for Jonathan Tah.

It's been several weeks since it was reported that Bayern Munich had agreed personal terms with Bayer Leverkusen's Jonathan Tah, but it appears that they have made no progress in their pursuit of the defender since then.

Bayern and Leverkusen remain far apart on their valuation of the German international, with the latter refusing to lower their price tag of €40 million plus bonuses, according to Sport Bild.

‘Die Werkself’ are adamant that no player will be sold to a direct rival for less than he's worth.

According to the report, the Bavarians initially offered €18 million and are willing to go up to €25 million plus bonuses, so it doesn't seem likely that an agreement will be reached at the moment.

However, Leverkusen are under some pressure to sell as they have made it clear that they don't want to lose Tah for nothing when his contract expires in 2025.
