Mainz striker Jonathan Burkardt has been linked with a number of clubs after impressing for Mainz this season.

Bild now reports that it would take an offer of more than €25 million to convince Mainz to sell the 24-year-old.

Should a bidding war ensue, the fee could rise considerably. Bayern Munich, Bayer Leverkusen, Eintracht Frankfurt, West Ham and AC Milan are among the clubs said to be interested.

Burkardt, who has scored 16 goals in 23 appearances this season, is contracted to Mainz until 2027.

He made his Germany debut in October.
