Bayern Munich star Jamal Musiala is edging closer to his long-awaited injury comeback.

According to Abendzeitung, the 22-year-old attacking midfielder is expected back on the pitch within the next four to eight weeks.

In the best-case scenario, Musiala could be available as early as December and potentially feature in Bayern’s final two games of the year against Mainz (December 14) and Heidenheim (December 21).

At the latest, he should be ready by January 11, when Bayern kick off 2026 against Wolfsburg.

In any case, the Bavarians are unlikely to take any risks with the youngster, who has been sidelined since he suffered a broke fibula in July.

“When will he come back? The plan was January, but we’ll see,” Bayern coach Vincent Kompany recently said.

“These long-term injuries can sometimes heal a little faster, but sometimes they take longer. That’s why I want to give him the necessary rest for his return.”
