“A dream come true” – Lennart Karl overjoyed after Germany World Cup call-up
Lennart Karl has described his inclusion in Germany's World Cup squad as "a dream come true".

After impressing in his first two appearances for Germany’s senior national team in March, Lennart Karl has been handed a call-up for this summer’s World Cup.
Following the announcement on Thursday afternoon, the 18-year-old FC Bayern Munich youngster took to Instagram to share his excitement.
“A dream come true to be able to play a World Cup for my country,” Karl wrote in an Instagram story.
“Thanks for the support. Let’s goooo!”
Karl has enjoyed a breakthrough campaign in Bayern Munich’s first team, scoring nine goals and providing eight assists in 38 appearances.
