Among the quintet headed back to their clubs is Bayern defender Matthijs de Ligt. The 23-year-old has departed the Dutch camp ahead of tomorrow's Euro 2024 qualifier against France.

It might still be possible for de Ligt and others to rejoin the squad ahead of the next Euro qualifier; a March 27th match against Gibraltar in Rotterdam. For the time being, the Dutch FA has announced that further news will come after tomorrow's match. Bayern midfielder/attacker Ryan Gravenberch - among those part of Koeman's preliminary squad - is now officially part of the roster as one of three elevated replacements.
