Report: Bayern board ready to break club record for new striker
Bild claims that Bayern Munich are prepared to pay a new club record fee to sign a striker this summer.
Bayern Munich are apparently ready to splash the cash on a new number 9 this summer.
According to Bild, Bayern's supervisory board has given the green light for the club to spend a new club record fee to bring in a new quality striker.
The German tabloid reports that club CEO Oliver Kahn will announce a club record turnover of 835 million euros for this season at the next board meeting.
Victor Osimhen (Napoli), Randal Kolo Muani (Eintracht Frankfurt) and Harry Kane (Tottenham) are some of the names Bayern have been linked with.
Currently, Bayern's most expensive signing of all time is Lucas Hernandez, who joined from Atletico Madrid for €80 million in 2019.
