Despite having three and a half years left on his contract with Bayern Munich, Kingsley Coman is not ruling out a move to a Premier League club.

Speaking to Sky Sports ahead of Bayern Munich's Champions League clash with Manchester United, Kingsley Coman has discussed the possibility of playing for a Premier League side in the future.

"I would say it is in the back of my head. What I love about football is the intensity of the game, the challenge," Coman said.

"The Premier League is one of the leagues, if not the league, with the most challenges and intensity. It is definitely a league I would like to play in one day, but you don't know what could happen in football. I could stay in Bayern and be the happiest ever," added the Bayern winger.

The French winger reveals there was a lot of interest in him, including from the Premier League, before he signed a contract extension with Bayern in January 2022, committing himself to the German champions until 2027.

"There were many teams that wanted me, not just in England. I can't say who. I won't say I was close to leaving, but when you arrive at the end of your contract, you think about all of your options, what goals you have and if you want to try something else.

"At the end, if I sign for Bayern for five years, it is because at the time I felt like staying at Bayern was the best for my career and me personally."

Coman has scored 62 goals and laid on 66 assists in 286 appearances for Bayer since his move from Juventus in 2015.
