Bayern Munich are keen to extend Leroy Sané's contract beyond 2025, but negotiations have recently stalled.

According to Sport Bild, Sané doesn't want to make a decision on his future until after Euro 2024, putting the Bavarians in a "difficult negotiating position".

If he has a good tournament, his performances would likely attract suitors and put him in a better position to negotiate a lucrative new deal with Bayern.

Sané currently earns around 20 million euros per season, making him one of the top earners at the club, with only Harry Kane, Manuel Neuer and Thomas Müller making more money than the winger.

Sané himself told Sport Bild in mid-December that he feels no pressure to make a decision about his future.

"We will sit down together at some point and make a decision. But there is still time. At the moment, I'm looking at what's happening on the pitch and not in the offices," Sané said:

"Of course, there won't be three or four more big contracts in my career. But I haven't really thought about it yet. I've been playing here since 2020, I'm basically happy and I really appreciate the fact that the club have signalled that they want to extend my contract.
