Marco Rose on Gladbach's losing streak: 'Apart from the results, we don't have any big problems'

Gladbach need to 'change small things' to stop their losing streak, says head coach Marco Rose.

Borussia Mönchengladbach are in poor form, having lost their last six games in all competitions.

Nevertheless, Gladbach coach Marco Rose insists his team don't need to solve any 'big problems' to get back to winning ways.

"Apart from the fact that we're not getting the results at the moment, we don't have any big problems that need to be fixed," said Rose at a press conference ahead of his side's Champions League last-16 return leg against Manchester City on Tuesday.

"It's always important to assess things properly. We're not getting the right results, but it helps to go into the details and analyse the basics. We have to change small things to help us get back to winning ways," added the 44-year-old, who caused a stir last month with the announcement that he will swap Gladbach for Borussia Dortmund at the end of the season.

Against Manchester City, Rose wants his team to show a different face than in the first leg, which saw Gladbach suffer a 0-2 loss at home.

"It's an important game for us; it's a Champions League fixture and we worked hard to be here. We lost the first leg 2-0, but we will try to change some things and put in a better performance this time around," he said.

"We know the calibre of opponent we're up against in Manchester City, not just because of the first leg. We need to defend well and try to bring our strengths to the fore in attack."

On the bright side for Gladbach, Ramy Bensebaini and Christoph Kramer have both returned to training ahead of the game.
