According to BILD, Bayern Munich want to offer the youth talent Maycon Cardozo a clear path forward to secure his long-term commitment.

The Brazilian has been training regularly with the first team for six months and has made a good impression at Säbener Straße.

Cardozo, who grew up in Thailand, joined the Bavarian giants in 2024 as a trialist with an international talent scouting group.

In February 2025, he signed a contract with the Bayern U-17s before moving up to the U-19s for the current season.

With five goals and five assists in 17  matches at that level, his positive development has not gone unnoticed by the club's bosses.

Given the 17-year-old attacker is currently only under contract in Munich until 2027, Bayern don't want another talent to leave prematurely.
