Ruhr Nachrichten reports that Almugera Kabar has decided to leave Borussia Dortmund this winter due to a lack of prospects.
A Premier League move is his dream, where, according to the paper, three other clubs in addition to Brentford, have expressed interest.
The 19-year-old full-back already informed sporting director Sebastian Kehl of his decision two weeks ago.
The player's preference is a permanent transfer or a loan with an option to buy; Kabar lacks any prospect of playing time at BVB for a pure loan deal.
With Daniel Svensson performing at his best and Ramy Bensebaini capable of playing at left centre-back or on the wing, Kabar has no route into the team.
However, his current employer holds the trump cards, as the left-footer signed a professional contract until 2028 just in February.
