Pascal Groß will rejoin his former employers Brighton & Hove Albion from Borussia Dortmund, according to Fabrizio Romano.

A permanent transfer has been agreed with the Premier League side with a comeback imminent for the 34-year-old veteran.

Sky Germany's Florian Plettenberg is informed that the Westphalians will pocket €2million with a possible extra €1million in potential bonuses.

Groß will now travel to the south of England – his medical with the Seagulls will be conducted in next 24 to 48-hours.

On 1 August 2024, Groß originally joined Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund and signed a contract until June 2026.

The midfielder went on to make a total of 66 appearances for BVB while netting a solitary goal and providing a further 17 assists.

This season however, the German has found it difficult to force his way into Niko Kovač's side, playing just 732 minutes in total.

It's believed that Groß – now firmly in the twilight of his career – wants to boost his chances of making Germany's 2026 World Cup squad.
