After initial reports claimed that RB Leipzig had made contact over the signing of Max Finkgräfe from FC Köln, it now appears that Die Roten Bullen have stepped up their pursuit.

According to Bild, Leipzig have submitted an offer of €4 million for Finkgräfe, who has just one year remaining on his contract with the newly promoted side.

Sky Germany, meanwhile, reports that a transfer is becoming increasingly concrete and that negotiations are already well advanced.

Hoffenheim, Stuttgart, and Eintracht Frankfurt have also been linked with the 21-year-old left-back, who made 16 appearances for the Billy Goats in the 2024/25 season.
