Mark Uth likely to make his return on Thursday

Köln's Mark Uth has been sidelined with pubic bone issues since the start of the season, but should make his long-awaited return in Köln's Europa Conference League match this week.

Mark Uth was in the squad to face Dortmund this past weekend, but wasn't brought onto the pitch. Last week, Steffen Baumgart suggested to 'kicker' that the club want him to return in their midweek game against FK Partizan instead:

"He can be in the squad against Dortmund, but the first few minutes he will probably play against Partizan Belgrade."

Uth has been out with pubic bones issues that required surgery, but now the 31-year-old is finally ready to start playing once again. He knows it won't be easy:

"I will certainly need some time to be back at 100%. - But, I have to go through it now and I assume that I will soon have my old form again."

Köln currently lead their Conference League group ahead of Partizan, Nice and Slovacko.
