Julian Nagelsmann: "It's a pretty fair result"

Speaking after Bayern's hectic 2-2 clash with Borussia Dortmund, Julian Nagelsmann admitted that a draw was fair.

Bayern München coach Julian Nagelsmann was naturally disappointed after seeing his side squander a two-goal lead against Borussia Dortmund, but felt the draw was fair.

Having been reduced to 10 men after Kingsley Coman saw red in the 90th minute, Bayern were leading 2-1 in injury time, when Anthony Modeste popped up to secure a late point for Dortmund.

"At the end of the day, I think it's a pretty fair result. We had a lot of chances to kill the game off on the counter. Then we didn't defend well and conceded. It hurts, of course, but it's not undeserved," Nagelsmann said in a post-match interview.

"We had to defend better in the situation just before the 2-2 equaliser. We had two many players standing in the centre and should have done better. "It was an even game, but we had a few situations in the second half where we were closer to securing the win."
