VfL Wolfsburg have announced the signing of Czech international Vaclav Cerny from FC Twente.

The 25-year-old winger has signed a contract with the Bundesliga club until 2027.

"We are very happy that Vaclav has chosen VfL Wolfsburg and our way," said Wolfsburg sporting director Sebastian Schindzielorz.

"He is a very prolific player who has shown his qualities in Enschede and is far from finished with his development. We are convinced that he can take the next step in his career in Wolfsburg and will be an important addition to our attack."

Cerny, who scored 13 goals and laid on 11 assists in the Dutch Eredivisie last season, said:

"I can't wait to get started. The Bundesliga is one of the best leagues in the world. It's always been my dream to play here and I'm very happy to be wearing the VfL Wolfsburg jersey next season."
