Xavi Simons too expensive for Dortmund, per Sport Bild

According to Sport Bild, Xavi Simons will not be coming to Dortmund, with the German tabloid reporting that the young midfielder is simply too expensive for the Black and Yellows.

After a fantastic debut season for PSV Eindhoven, Xavi Simons has made the transfer wish lists of several clubs.

Fabrizio Romano recently reported that Borussia Dortmund are among the suitors, but a move to Signal Iduna Park appears unlikely for the 20-year-old starlet.

That's according to Sport Bild, who claims that Simons is simply too expensive for Borussia Dortmund. The same goes for RB Leipzig, who are also said to be interested.

Simons is said to have a 6 million release clause in his contract, which only applies to Paris Saint-Germain.

PSG are said to have already informed him that they want to trigger the option, with Simons yet to make a decision on his future.
