Report: Schalke inquire about Bas Dost
The former Wolfsburg striker Bas Dost has apparently attracted interest from Schalke 04.
Schalke 04 are understood to be looking into the possibility of bringing Bas Dost to Germany.
According to Bild, 'The Royal Blues' have inquired about the Sporting CP striker, but negotiations between the two clubs haven't taken place yet.
Sporting are said to be ready to let the former Wolfsburg striker go, but Schalke will not be able to match the Portuguese club's asking price of €15 million. Instead, a loan deal could be on the cards.
Dost, 30, scored 23 goals in 35 appearances for Sporting CP last season.
