Sven Ulreich: 'I'll try to find a new club'

"It's clear that I don't want to be the number three in the coming season," says Sven Ulreich.
Sven Ulreich has made it clear that he will be looking to leave Bayern München this summer.

The goalkeeper has been behind Manuel Neuer in the pecking order since he made the move to Allianz Arena from Stuttgart in 2015.

And with Alex Nübel set to arrive from Schalke 04 this summer, Ulreich will face increased competition for the spot behind Neuer if he stays put.

"It's clear that I don't want to be the number three in the coming season. I'll try to find a new club. If nothing suitable comes, it's possible that I will fulfill my contract in Munich, In that case, I'll give my all to remain the number two," Ulreich told Sport1.

According to Sport Bild, Ulreich is subject of interest from Schalke 04, who are understood to be looking to bring in a new goalkeeper.

His contract with Bayern runs until 2021.
