Röhl completes Everton move

SC Freiburg have confirmed that Merlin Röhl has joined Everton on loan with an obligation to buy that will only take effect if the English club avoid relegation.
“The interest from England has been there for a while, and now an agreement has been reached that satisfies all three parties,” said Freiburg sporting director Klemens Hartenbach.
“Merlin’s move to the Premier League shows once again that young players can confidently choose SC Freiburg to be a part of their footballing journey. We wish Merlin all the best with the Toffees.”
The 23-year-old attacking midfielder scored three goals and provided six assists in 60 appearances for Freiburg.
