Stuttgart and Wolfsburg courting Inter Milan talent Stankovic

A pair of German top-flight clubs have set their sights on the talented Serbian.

VfB Stuttgart have reportedly inquired about Aleksandar Stankovic, according to Italian source Gianluca di Marzio.

The son of the legendary Dejan Stankovic, the 19-year-old hasn't been able to step out of his father's shadow just yet.

However, the Serbian midfielder gained valuable first team experience on loan at Luzern in the Swiss Super League last season.

It's worth mentioning that Stuttgart are not alone - fellow Bundesliga side VfL Wolfsburg as well as Club Brugge of Belgium are interested.

The two-time Serbian U-21 international is under contract with Internazionale until 2028 and could cost around €10million.
