Sky Germany reports that Danish international Mads Roerslev is set to join VfL Wolfsburg.

According to the report, Die Wölfe have agreed a deal with Brentford to take the right-back on loan with an option to buy of €6.5 million.

Roerslev will be brought in to provide cover at right-back following Ridle Baku's move to RB Leipzig.

Roerslev's fellow Dane Andreas Skov Olsen, who plays as a right winger, also recently joined Wolfsburg from Club Brugge.

Roerslev has made 22 appearances for Brentford this season, providing two assists.

He made his international debut for Denmark in November.
