Borussia Dortmund have finalized a deal to sign Fabio Silva from Wolverhampton Wanderers, according to The Athletic.

The clubs have agreed on a transfer fee of €22.5 million plus an additional €4 million in add-ons, as per The Athletic journalist David Ornstein.

Silva has already said goodbye to his Wolves teammates and is now heading to Dortmund for his medical.

Dortmund have been linked with Silva for some time, as the Black and Yellows have been looking for a back-up and potential long-term replacement for star striker Serhou Guirassy.

The Portugal international spent last season on loan at Las Palmas in Spain, scoring 10 goals in 24 matches.
