According to reports from Portugal, Viktor Gyökeres’s move from Sporting CP to Arsenal is in danger of falling through.

Portuguese newspaper A Bola reports that Arsenal are threatening to walk away from negotiations because Sporting are refusing to lower their asking price for the Swedish striker, who has already agreed personal terms on a move to London.

Should the deal collapse, the Gunners could switch their attention to RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Šeško, who is understood to be their Plan B.

Die Roten Bullen urgently need to generate income and could do so by selling the Slovenian striker, with the player said to be keen on joining Arsenal.

However, to make a deal happen, Leipzig would likely have to reduce their hefty €80 million asking price.
