Bayern Munich played out an entertaining 2-2 draw with Real Madrid in the first leg of their Champions League semifinal tie on Tuesday night.
The Bavarians started the game on the front foot, but fell behind out of nowhere when Vinicius Junior was played in behind and scored midway through the first half.
Goals from Leroy Sané and Harry Kane turned the game around for the Bavarians, before Vinicius Junior added another one from the penalty spot to make it 2-2.
"It's only halftime. It was an up and down game," Bayern midfielder Konrad Laimer told Prime Video after the match.
"We started well, but then we didn't do so well. This is typical Madrid... we know them. They slow the game down a bit and then they're there."
In general, Laimer was pleased with Bayern's performance.
"Overall we did well, but we allowed them too much. It felt like they had three chances and scored three goals. They are all exceptional players," he said.
“There is still a lot to play for here. We know what we can do. We just have to raise our game.”
