Wolfsburg signed Algerian striker Mohamed Amoura from Belgian cup winners Union Saint-Gilloise on a loan deal, but they’ll certainly exercise their buy option for €17 million. According to local outlets “Aller-Zeitung” and “Wolfsburger Allgemeine Zeitung", Wolfsburg are open to listen to offers in the range of €50 million.

"It’s fantastic how he has developed with us,” said Wolfsburg’s sports director Peter Christiansen. “Of course, there will be interested clubs. But, if we let a player go, there must not be a gap here and we should get what he is worth for the club.”

Amoura scored nine goals in his first 22 Bundesliga appearances for the Green and Whites. Meanwhile, his assist in Bremen puts him third in the league’s ranking with eight. The fleet-footed dribbler is the main reason for Wolfsburg’s late push for European places.

But, he could join a Champions League side by the end of the season. Bayer Leverkusen and Eintracht Frankfurt are currently lining up their offers to add the 24-year-old to their ranks. The champions are reportedly in pole position, while Frankfurt must secure a Champions League qualification to afford a transfer of that scale.
