While his teammates are preparing for tonight's Bundesliga opener, BILD monitored Jamal Musiala continuing his return to fitness.

The midfielder went all out during a special individual training session at the Säbener Straße training ground this morning.

Musiala trained with rehab manager Benjamin Sommer, using the "Sprint 2" machine - a device equipped with a winch.

This device enables players to perform runs and sprints with precisely adjusted resistance from the winch attached to them.

The device is digitally controlled and analyzed directly by the machine itself, with the player's data monitored on an iPad.

In addition to Musiala, teammate Serge Gnabry also put in an individual shift while at Säbener Straße this morning.

Tonight's game comes too soon for him, however Lennart Karl, on the other hand, is back in Vincent Kompany's squad.
