Manuel Neuer has joined Germany's training camp ahead of Euro 2024 after recovering from illness.
As confirmed by the German Football Association, the veteran goalkeeper arrived at the training camp in Blankenstein on Tuesday evening.
On Wednesday, Neuer skipped training on the pitch and instead worked indoors, according to multiple reports.
Germany coach Julian Nagelsmann recently reiterated that the 38-year-old will be his first-choice goalkeeper at the European Championship, ahead of Marc-André ter Stegen.
“If he's healthy, he'll remain my number one," Nagelsmann said at a press conference earlier this week.
Neuer missed Germany's two friendlies in March due to injury. He last played for Germany at the 2022 World Cup, after which he suffered a horrific leg break.
He made his return to action for Bayern in an 8-0 victory over Darmstadt towards the end of October and went on to feature 33 times for the Bavarians in the 2023/24 campaign.
